TORONTO, CANADA 01/09/2009 – Prominent DNA testing firm easyDNA has launched its business into the Mexican market by opening a subsidiary office in Mexico City from which it intends to offer its complete portfolio of DNA testing services.

Not only is the office managed by a local, but one with expertise in genetics and who has been educated in and served work experience in the USA and other Latin American countries. This will enable the company to offer its full range of DNA testing options from an office staffed by a local who understands the market, and who is technically capable of advising clients and managing the portfolio of tests.

Andrew Alexander, easyDNA’s Sales and Marketing Director, commented, “We had been assuming that Mexicans living close to the USA border would be quite willing to order from across the border, but this does not seem to be always the case. The response to the new office has been extremely good, and it is now obvious that people prefer to deal with their own compatriots in their own country.

A local office appears far preferable to most people, and our success in Mexico has been due to this subsidiary. DNA tests, particularly paternity tests, can be very stressful and people prefer to speak to a local fluent in their own language and who understands them. Not only that but they can order and pay in their own currency, and receive the test kits with instructions in their own language. It has so far been an encouraging success.

The testing and quality procedures adopted by easyDNA have been audited and have received accreditation to the high standards of ISO 17025, and the firm uses state-of-the-art genetic identification equipment. It serves a international customer base from sixteen local offices and offers DNA Forensic testing, DNA Relationship Testing and DNA Paternity Testing as well as advanced DNA Forensic tests. All results are accurate and confidential between the company and the client. Click here to find out more.
